The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to join a small but perfectly formed and friendly team who provide focused 1st and 2nd line support to some of the most vibrant and energised components of Accenture.

Backed by multiple specialist technical and project teams within Accenture, the Local Technology Support team provide point-of-delivery support to several key entities within Accenture.

You will have a strong Mac, PC and Linux support experience and be familiar with working on a support helpdesk for users operating within an Active Directory environment. As well as Mac, PC and Linux support skills, you will also have a solid working knowledge of Windows along with experience of working with a range of network/server environments and also ideally familiarity with various audio-visual technology support.

Key skills / experience / attributes / technologies:

  • Strong experience supporting MacOS and Windows in an Active Directory environment
  • Hardware provisioning experience (JAMF / PXE)
  • iOS / Android support
  • Good appreciation of networking fundamentals
  • Support of O365 / Adobe Suite / Google Suite
  • Maintain good knowledge of all PC hardware models in the environment, including specifications and internal customer PC model eligibility criteria
  • Proven experience of Linux operating systems at the command line level
  • Experience of ticketing systems (e.g. Service Now)
  • Experience working with JAMF / InTune
  • Support of Audio-Visual systems
  • Positive, can-do approach
  • Methodical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, use your own initiative and communicate with all levels of the business

What you will be doing:

  • 1st & 2nd line computer and A/V support
  • Logging tickets on Service Now and progressing to completion taking relevant action where necessary
  • Preparing new laptops, accounts and running mini-induction sessions for new starters
  • Writing and maintaining documentation
  • Updating asset management systems
  • Assisting with various project work
